PMI allows a candidate to attempt the exam three times in one calendar year. Meaning after your registration till one year you can take the exam three times. PMI charges examination fee for each attempt.

Yes. The PMP certification expire after three years. You can easily renew it by doing some study work. During these three years, you will have to earn 60 PDUs (Professional Development Units) to renew your PMP certification. This is very easy and does not require you to take the exam again.

If you application is selected for the audit process you will be notified by email before the payment of the exam fee. PMI will ask you submit some documents. Mainly these include:

- Copy of your educational certificate
- Signature from your manager or supervisor from the project your worked on
- Verification section of the application
- Copy of your 35 contact hours certificate required for PMP
